1. Together with your partners, you will be investigating various work & travel programs in the U.S.A.
2. After gathering the necessary information and critiquing the various programs, you and your partners will write a letter of inquiry to the program you choose requesting more information about their program.
3. The letter will be written in a word processing program like MS Word and sent to the teacher via e-mail as an attachment.
4. Additionally, each person in the group will download and fill out an application form for a Student Visa to the U.S. and hand it in for a grade.

Keep in mind the many reports of work & travel programs that have been known to disappear with students' money while failing to provide employment or housing for students once they arrive in the U.S.
Different programs send you to different parts of the U.S. Your group needs to make sure it picks a program that will send you to a part of the U.S. that you are interested in exploring. In addition, because there is such a mass of information regarding accomodation, travel, and visas, you will each be given one of the following roles:
